Fire the Lightning

Did I just do something next level?

So let me share the events leading up to what I am believing is a supernatural occurrence. Last night, I was watching some of the Healing Summit at Oasis Church and I missed the beginning of it due to life stuff. I listened live as Dutch Sheets told of the deed that was being given to God’s Ecclesia to advance the Kingdom in this Kingdom Age. I grabbed hold of and wrapped the mantle around myself and my family. I felt the Glory of God. There was one thing that happened during my watching last night that was different than before. When I was focused on the TV screen I felt the Glory but when I interacted with my kids who were next to me then it lifted. But when my focus went back to the summit, the Glory came right back. In the past, interruptions like that would cause a break in the Glory and even if my focus returned to the video, book, or experience, the Glory would not just switch back on. I believe this is an indication of a higher level of Glory over all the plain of the earth. Or another way to say that is the vale between Heaven and earth is even thinner now allowing for the connection not to be lost because of simple interruptions of focus. Maybe that is just me so I am interested to know if others are experiencing the same thing.

The event then shifted into the ministry time there in Ohio and at all of the 700+ registered locations throughout the earth. There were far more but that is the number that Tim Sheets said during the event. As that time progressed, testimonies of healing started to be reported. These were being recorded by Jen Tringale and they started to cut in to the worship time with these reports. The total video is just over 4 hours and linked below:

Back to my night, I had to get the kids to bed as my wife was exhausted from a shopping trip that took all day. That took a little while and there were a bunch of little thunderstorm cells all around my house but it was only sprinkling here. I finally got them down and headed toward the house to shower. As I stepped out the camper door, there what flash of lightning that made it almost daylight outside at 9:40-ish at night. It was very cool to see the huge clouds in the sky back-lighted by what seems like an extended flashing of lightning. I though, Wow God that was so cool, thank you.

As I headed through the car port, the Holy Spirit said something like, you could record some of that. I agreed and so I turned back around and stepped back out into the driveway. As I walked out, there was another big flash but I missed documenting it. I then braced my phone so that my video would not be shaky and started the recording just looking straight up. I stood there for a while and nothing happens. So, I pray sorta audibly, “More Lord, More” and pause before saying “Fire”. As I speak fire, there is a lightning flash that is not well documented in the video but was straight in the middle of where i was looking. The flash seemed to burn itself into my eyes and all the way into me. After the night, went back to darkness, the image of the flash was still in my eyes. I held the phone position until the thunder rolled through and then stopped the recording.

As I reviewed the video, I felt the Glory of God on it and especially at the lightning flash. As the image faded from my eyes, I notice that it did not look like normal lightning. From my perspective, it was a straight beam of light, more like an energy weapon shot than lightning. The closest image, to what I saw is below:

To further describe it, the core was pure white energy and the sides where like the veins of a leaf but at 90 degrees to the main direction of travel. The sides did have a lightning like quality. The main core was probably over a hundred yards wide and many miles long. I’m totally guessing on size as it seemed to be very high up. It started above me or maybe above and behind me and headed slightly to the right across the sky. Thinking back, I do not know if the flash actually hit the earth or not, it continued beyond what i could see of the horizon. Another interesting aspect of the flash was it was perfectly straight, not the zig-zag that is typical of lightning bolts. And now for the video to allow you to share in the fun:

So there it is, I felt the Glory of God on it when I watched it shortly after recording it. You make the call, is it a supernatural occurrence? Did my request to God for more Fire cause Him to send a lightning bolt in answer? I believe that the answer is yes to both. What does that mean, well not completely sure, but for sure it means that God will respond to our request. I am not much in human terms, just a normalish guy who is growing and learning to overcome my sin nature and function more in the Kingdom. What I seem to do differently than many others is I spend dedicated time each day being with our Abba Father. I try not to think or talk either in the natural or spirit, which is kinda hard at times. I just say, “Abba Father, let me see Your Face and hear Your Heart.” This seems to tie into one of my favorite verses is Psalm 46:10 which is in the NIV:

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

Try it and see what happens. I hope this helps encourage you that normalish, non-church elite can and do have direct access to Abba Father. We can have such friendship with Him that when we ask for something special He gives it. This reminds me of another scripture, Matthew 7:10-12 NASB1995:

¹⁰ Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he?

¹¹ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
